A long-lasting, natural linen jersey (single jersey) of extraordinary quality. The fabric was made exclusively in Germany. Organic flax from northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands was spun into the finest yarn and then plied. This means that in each case two individual threads were twisted so as to increase strength and even out yarn irregularities. The yarn used for this jersey is thus very strong and it keeps an extraordinarily smooth surface. It must be noticed that only flax of very high quality can be processed in this way. This comfortable jersey is especially suitable for clothing: dresses, skirts, slacks, T-shirts, tops, tunics, sports clothing or children’s clothing. It was knitted as tube and then cut apart for washing and stretching, so it offers a great width of 162 cm. It should be noted that pure linen is still running quite a bit in the first wash, usually 3 to 5%. To determine the exact shrinkage, we suggest washing samples first. Please note: Natural linen will fade in the sun. The jersey is best to be dried in shade and gently stretched into shape for drying, preferably lying flat as is best done with most knitted fabrics.
